While I was sewing the clothespin holder, the baby was very interested in the clothespins. So, I snagged a handful for the her to play with. I figured my brother wouldn't miss 5 out of the 50 I gifted him.
She plays with them along with her wooden blocks, which are in the box playroom. For now, clothespins make great drum sticks. They also roll well across the floor, which is very entertaining for a 10 month old.
In the future, I'm thinking I will turn these into dolls. But for now they are great open ended play.
Of course, like everything, they end up in her mouth.
